![]() An all-inclusive should be just that, especially when paying for the highest tier (Diamond Club). I also was not a fan of having menu items at the restaurants be additional money. I was not a fan of seeing all the lines of people everywhere. It's a very limited menu and the pictures of the food do not match the portion/presentation of the actual food you receive. The resort credits you receive with Diamond Club are a joke, that's just something flashy they use to entice people to upgrade but the credits themselves aren't worth it. With Diamond Club you get "butler service." This should really be called concierge service because they don't act as an actual butler, they are there, mainly by messenger, to make dinner reservations and request any services you would like. Even with Diamond Club, we had to wait in a 30 min line in the middle of the day just to make a reservation to the Zen Teppanyaki restaurant. This means unless you have Diamond Club and make reservations, you will be waiting in 30-60min lines for dinner at each of the restaurants. This is, in my opinion, a large resort (1,200 rooms) so there are A LOT of people. They did have sargassum but that is unavoidable at certain times of the year, and they were removing it as they could. It is right on the beach and their beach is a very nice white sand. The property itself is very grand and beautiful. Overall, I was very pleased for the price point. Everybody that works there speaks English, so you do not need to know Spanish. One negative, the curtains still let in light. For casual, I would order the guacamole and chips at Barefoot Grill. I went to Mezes at Dreams and really enjoyed it. I particularly liked the flexibility of being able to go to Dreams for meals and drinks as well. People are so tired from being in the sun all day, many people do not even make it to dinner. There is one bar for night time, but it is not a bustling scene. There was a mix of large family and friend groups, as well as lots of couples. ![]() I went by myself for 4 days and it was the perfect getaway. The beach had white sand and the water was calm. Riviera Maya, Aperol spritz, Paloma’s, super man drink were a few of their specialties. The food was excellent at Bordeaux, Portofino, Oceana, and the drinks at the swim up bar were superb. From the moment arrived, I felt special even though I was not a preferred guest. These all inclusive resorts in Cancun have great views and are well-liked by travelers: Le Blanc Spa Resort Cancun - Traveler rating: 5/5 Sun Palace - Traveler rating: 4.
